Shed Base Requirements

We will be offering the supply and fit of all size sheds so long as there is a solid base already in place. If there isn’t a sufficient base in place we would need to be aware of this beforehand. We can arrange for someone to put a base down at an additional charge if required.

The base where the shed is to be installed needs to be flat, level and stable. It is essential that the base is sufficient and level to prevent excess stress on the shed which could potentially affect the structure of the roof, floors and doors. This will ensure your shed has the longest life possible.

A timber frame or timber bears can be used as a shed base but these would have to run the opposite way to the floor joists on the shed. If your shed is of a larger size where there is a joint in the floor this will need extra support on the base.

• Paving/Indian stone

• Concrete paving

• Decking

• Timber frames/Bearers.

• 45mm x 45mm framing wood.

• Available in tanalised tongue and groove or feather edge.

• Heavy duty green mineral felt used for the roof.

• Doors can be hinged left or right to suit.

• Doors are available as single or double as optional extra.

• Windows are also available as optional extras.

Important Information 

On ordering, please make us aware of any limited access as we may need to adjust panel sizes as necessary.

Please ensure that shed roof is kept clear from leaves or debris, especially within the autumn/winter months.

Our sheds come with a 12 month guarantee against faulty parts and labour.
